Social Impact On the Bali

Bali bombings had made the potential of having social tensions. Many people had mistaken that the bombing was done by the religion, Islam. This results in Islam being look down on and feared by many other religions. In order to change the perceptions of the people, the locals in Bali signified that this tragedy was not about religion. For example, they had peaceful prayers. The local government worries that they will be an increase in the social tension which can result in conflicts. This is because of the growing economic hardships. Keeping social tensions in checking and maintaining law and order are key aspect on Bali recovery.

Political impact on Bali

Government has step up security level in Bali. They have implemented strict laws and punishments to people who involved in terrorist activities. Government also had to tighten various controls such as stepping up border security so as not to allow terrorists to enter to the country easily. Hence, the people will not feel comfortable as they do not have freedom. However, this is a need in order to prevent further attacks and bombings in Bali.
